Sky News host Rita Panahi says the medical profession and science has “quite clearly” been corrupted by politics and ideological considerations in relation to the origins of COVID-19. “It’s very worrying,” she told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. Ms Panahi noted scientists and professionals had been banned from media simply for supporting the theory COVID-19 was leaked from a lab in Wuhan. “People were called racists for putting forward that theory,” she said. “It just shows you what a dangerous climate of censorship and groupthink we have.”
